Bend
Selected by default. For most body parts, it is used to for the following movements:
- Flexion – This refers to a bending movement that decreases the angle between two body parts. For example, bending the knee brings the lower leg closer to the thigh, or bending the elbow brings the forearm closer to the upper arm.
- Extension – The opposite of flexion, extension is a straightening movement that increases the angle between two body parts, returning it to the anatomical position. For instance, straightening the knee or elbow.
Tilt
For most body parts, it is used to for the following movements:
- Abduction – Movement of a limb or other part away from the midline of the body. An example is lifting an arm out to the side. For fingers, it means spreading them apart.
- Adduction – Movement of a limb or other part towards the midline of the body. For example, bringing an arm back to the side after it has been abducted. For fingers, it means bringing them together.
Rotate
Movement of a body part around its own long axis. An example is the turning of the head from left to right and right to left.
Move (up and down)
Used to move the whole model up or down.
Move across the floor
Used to move the whole model horizontally across the floor. Drag the model to the desired spot on the floor.
